Volunteer with Us

The NC Folk Festival relies on hundreds of dedicated volunteers each year. Whether you can give a few hours or the whole weekend, we'd love your help!

Volunteer Roles

• Stage crew and artist hospitality
• Information booth staffing
• Accessibility assistants
• Kids' area supervisors
• Setup and teardown crews

All volunteers receive a festival t-shirt, meals during shifts, and an invitation to the volunteer appreciation party.

Before You Sign Up

Shift selection and the volunteer waiver are handled by our partner site, VolunteerLocal — the link above will take you there. Signing up with a group or organization? VolunteerLocal supports registering together. Interested in being an Artist Host (Buddy)? That role has its own short application in addition to your shift registration.
